Rembert Lone Air Force Player Named First-Team All-MWC

Junior cornerback Reggie Rembert was the lone Air Force player selected to the All-Mountain West Conference first team.

Senior nose guard Ben Garland, in my opinion, is the biggest snub.

  1. Garland not being first team is nothing short of a travesty.

  2. Yeah what a joke. Ben Garland will have a shot at the NFL if he wants

Couldn’t agree more guys. I had a few AF guys on my ballot, but Garland was the one guy I thought was a no-brainer. In fact, if I had to rank players for Defensive POY, I’d rank Garland behind only Hughes, Johnson and perhaps Sylvester.

Unbelievable. Ben Garland not on the first team? Agree with you wholeheartedly, Jake. He should have been a no-brainer first team selecton. I am proud and happy for Reggie, but I could have much more easily accepted him as a second-teamer than Ben. Just not right at all. I also think Brandon Geyer could have easily taken first or second team honors. No love for the air force boys this year.
