Air Force senior punter Brandon Geyer was named the Mountain West Conference’s special teams player of the week this morning for his performance in Air Force’s 35-7 victory over Army.
Geyer averaged 48.2 yards on six punts, including a career-long 71-yarder and a 63-yarder that was the third-longest of his career. Geyer had one punt downed inside the Black Knights’ 20-yard line and finished with a career-best punting average of 46.7 yards, as Army returned just one punt for nine yards on the day.
Way to go Brandon Geyer.
