I have been with the The Gazette since 2006 and began covering Air Force athletics in the fall of 2012. While with The Gazette I've jumped from layout & design to covering the Sky Sox to spending several years overseeing our high school sports coverage. I've written for newspapers at the University of Kansas, St. Joseph, Mo., and Maui. (By the way, one of those things is not like the other) At home, my wife, Jennifer, and I have three young daughters, ranging in age from 3 1/2 to 8 months. a) 12-134 in conference play.
b) extremely high number of player defections.
c) lots of rumbling from ex-players in the coach’s demeaning style.
d) moves the three year starting catcher into the outfield before a game because the coach impulsively thinks that he looks better catching flyballs. the catcher hasnt played outfield since little league.
has there every been a coach with such a terrible losing record that gets offered a new contract?
people wanted to run FDB out of town after a few bad seasons and no one raises hell about this?
one word: shocking!

Obviously the program is very unstable and some changes need to be made with the leadership.
